What level of autonomy does Openpilot offer, and how will it evolve with future advancements?

Openpilot in Aptera provides Level 2 autonomy, which requires the driver to remain fully responsible for the vehicle’s actions. Openpilot’s safety model carefully controls the activation of steering, acceleration, and braking, ensuring drivers have ample time to take over if necessary. Over time, Openpilot will gain enhanced capabilities, including map-based navigation, stopping at traffic lights and stop signs, and making turns.
