What technology does Aptera’s vision system use to enhance driver visibility?
Aptera’s vision system enhances driver visibility and safety through an integrated setup of four strategically positioned cameras. The side view cameras are housed in the left and right side mirrors, effectively eliminating traditional blind spots by replacing the function of analog mirrors. A rear-view camera, mounted in the brake lamp at the top of the rear hatch, provides a view for increased driver awareness. Additionally, a backup camera, located beneath the license plate, offers extra visibility when reversing. These cameras feed into two screens positioned just below the driver’s line of sight, and in the rearview mirror location, providing clear views of both side and rear perspectives.
