What kind of license do I need to operate an Aptera?
In most states, a standard driver’s license is sufficient to drive a three-wheeled vehicle like the Aptera. Currently, only a few states — Alaska, Wyoming, Massachusetts, and Maine — require a motorcycle license. Aptera is actively working with these states to update their regulations, as our enclosed design offers the safety and ease of operation that aligns well with standard driver’s license requirements.
