openpilot will not be included in the initial deliveries due to challenges in sourcing an electronic power steering motor that supports ADAS features. However, Aptera is committed to making openpilot-capable vehicles available as soon as possible. Adding openpilot to your reservation will not impact your delivery timeline; we will contact you closer to your delivery date to confirm your preference for the openpilot upgrade.
